Poor sleep hygiene is linked to ageing and has the ability to impair most of the body’s metabolic functions such as processing food and storing carbohydrates. It can even affect the hormone regulatory system of young adults to the extent they exhibit psychological disorders. This might be the reason why teens are known for rowdy or uncontrolled behavior which is said to be a normal sign of adolescence but not according to scientists and researchers. They say that sleep is so important to us humans that without it or the lacking of which results in severe health conditions that bring about a myriad of diseases. It can even influence the growth of teens due to the unbalanced amount of hormones that constantly rages thought he body. Poor eating habits may also be linked to poor sleep habits for the body needs a specific amount of nutrients to function properly. The effects are, psychological, excessive sleepiness and other symptoms of teen behavior so start early and train children before they enter their teen years to practice healthy sleep habits.
