Childhood Sleep Problems Carry onto Adult Life

Posted By Allan

sleeplessnesStudies are showing that children who suffer from sleep disorders not only risk cognitive performance in school but are also under more risk of developing adult sleep problems. Such problems in children are growing partly due to technology which is responsible for late nights as they strive to play their Playstations and many other gadgets, under the covers and even in the many dark closets. Life is indeed having a profound impact on the way we live on this earth, even on our children, as we speak they are failing in school and many other tasks that used to be quite trivial and were accepted as part of daily life.
Schools have also relied on technology for so long that some have even made such gadgets and gizmos part of their curricula, to serve as a standardized educational tools. They may have underestimated the ability of technology to exact physiological change on children who are getting too attached to these technological wonders even before they even learn to right. Not a day goes by when they search for technology that just happens to be everywhere. Parents and child behaviorists should work hand in hand to manage their access to technology and the ability of technology to influence them, sending their grades and lives down the drain.
