Sleep Disorders and Kids

Posted By Allan

Many problems within the sleep cycle within children are temporary and do disappear as they mature. But some disorders that debilitate or hamper the child’s development can be a sure sign of some other underlying problems. Even bed-wetting is considered to be a sleep disorder that was traditionally blamed on emotional and psychologically caused. But recent research has shown that it is more likely to be caused by a physically small bladder, a bladder infection or some other physical cause as the cause rather than an emotional cause. These problems do eventually disappear but if they do continue to wards adolescence and adulthood, a physician should be consulted immediately to determine the underlying cause.
